Hello and welcome to Markk II Studios. Founded and first opened in 1978, Markk II Studios is the creative outlet facility for artist and composer Markk W. Roberts. Projects vary from New Age ambient CD's, to small movie trailers, and collaborations with other synthesizer artist's and composers. Currently Markk II Studios is a private facility and does not provide outside commercial work.

Welcome to the latest news. Hi everyone, and here is the latest and greatest news from the Markk II camp. Mahalo everyone !!! As some of you know, Markk II Studio's has moved to Kailua Kona, Hawaii. There have been some major changes in the studio. The first of which is the sale of all synthesizers and keyboards, and excess outboard gear. I have only a hadful of pieces left, my Apogee Ensemble, a single Lexicon PCM 81 and my Apple laptops. 99% of it is still in storage. While Hawaii has beautiful weather and temps, that very same weather would destroy modular synthesizer jacks and internal electronics, I have already visted a local music store and have witnessed some of this type of "rust" damage. I am trying to decide if I am going to even attempt to buy anymore gear right now until I move into more of a permanant home. I am in a small condo right now, less than 1000 feet from the shoreline.
