Ah yes the gear list, it's what everybody wants to know about and compare notes and ask the proverbial question... "why do they use that gear?" We here at Markk II Studios are no different than you are, and we want to know what you use, and why? We have learned some of the best tips and tricks and products from other studios and professional musicians from around the world.

We are continuously researching products from around the globe. This is such a fantastic time for us as musicians, producers and engineers, the equipment at our disposal continues to get better and better, thus making our jobs easier to achive the maximum results.

Our current main computers are an Apple iMac 27" and a MacBook Pro 17, with additional new Apple products enroute. The greatest thing about Apple computer and related products is that not only does it make great and fantastic computing power for recording studio applications. It also happens to be the absolute best for all of our needs in continuing educational ventures, and website design with Adobe products like CS4 Premium, and of course Apple's Developer program.

New additions coming to the studio will be a new Digidesign ProTools HD Accel System, Contenders for the large format mixing console are also being looked into with front runners being from Euphonix and Solid State Logic. Additonally we hope to add the digital interface converters from Apogee "Symphony I/O" for an ultra clean transparent recording experience. A whole new slew of synthesizers are on the worklist, and we are refining our list down to those "must have" pieces.
